Class is available from  October thru May.  We may start earlier or run later depending on the current weather trend.  We will not run dogs in warm temperatures due to risk of heat exhaustion.  Watch our website for details.

Locations for training include but are not limited to our training locations, your home,  parks, or trails.  For areas outside our training locations or your home, check to see if mushing dogs is allowed and if any permits are needed.

For the dog sledding training, owner's dogs must be able to get along with other dogs without aggression.

If owner doesn't have their own mushing equipment, we will have it available for loan.  Items on loan must be returned by the last class.  Items will also be available for purchase.

Depending on location, participants may be consolidated together into one class to make it more convienient for everyone.  However, owners may request to keep the class private.

It weather prevents classes from taking place, DDA will contact each participant to inform them.
